Accredited Franchise Member
This category is for any franchise system, regardless of the number of franchisees, and includes Master Franchisees and Multi-brand Franchisors.
Systems can be homegrown or international. The word Accredited is used to recognise the rigorous scrutineering process systems go through to comply with the FANZ Code of Practice and Ethics.
The annual membership subscription is based on a tiered fee structure determined by the size i.e. the number of franchisee units or locations, including company-owned, that a system has.
Advisor/Supplier Member
This category (also known as an Affiliate Member) is for any business that provides advice, support, goods or services to the franchising sector and includes bank and finance institutions, lawyers, accountants, consultants, business brokers, tangible goods suppliers, IT and software suppliers, franchise media, telecommunications suppliers etc.
Individual Member
This category is for individuals, including students and people in business, with a strong interest in or connection with franchising. This includes people with a business they are considering franchising but are not yet ready to meet the standards of the Code of Practice and Ethics and join as an Accredited Franchisor Member.
It also covers franchisees whose franchise system is not a member of FANZ. Franchisees of Accredited Franchisor Members automatically receive the same discounted or free access to education and networking events run by the Association as their Accredited Franchisor Member.
