My professional experience comes from over 38 years in the banking sector with Westpac NZ Limited including over 20 years specialising in franchising.
As a Senior Commercial Manager with Westpac, I have hands on experience managing banking relationships with both franchise systems and franchisees, giving me a real understanding and appreciation of the issues in franchising.
Over the years I have been heavily involved in franchising from attending many Franchise Expo’s, Conferences, helping to run franchise-specific seminars right through to writing articles for the Franchise Magazine
Previously based in Wellington in the early 2000’s I took an active part in franchising in Wellington whilst also running the local FANZ networking events during my time there. As a new member to the board, I would like to see more participation by both Franchisors and Franchisees alike to ensure we are getting more representation of views across the entire industry.
